 Thyroid Function And Reproductive Problems:

Walaikum salam.
Very good questions.
Thyroid gland neck mein aik gland hota hai, jo body kaa bohot say different functions ko control karta hai, including reproductive hormones and reproductive function. Waisa to Thyroid gland kay body mein bohot say different functions hain, including metabolism, energy production, temperature regulation etc etc, iska saath saath iska reproductive function par bhee bohot say important effects hota hain. Females mein abnormal thyroid function ke wajah say abnormal menstrual cycles, polycystic ovaries, increased prolactin, lack of ovulation aur even infertility bhee ho saktee hai.
Thyroid gland kay function ko check karna kay liya simplest test TSH ( Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) levels check karna hai. Agar TSH level high ho gaa to iska matlab hai keh Thyroid Function Low hai. Agar TSH level Low ho gaa to iska matlab hai keh Thyroid Function High hai. Most cases mein abnormality High TSH ke hoti hai, yaani Thyroid Gland Ka function Low hota hai ( like in your case). Iska kae different reasons ho sakte hain, aur iska proper treatment karwana bohot zaroori hai. Most cases mein aik single pill, once daily laina say yeh abnormality correct ho jaati hai, magar medication lamba arsa, sometimes for life, laini parrtee hai. Every few weeks TSH levels check kiya jaata hai, aur uska accordingly, medication ke dose adjust ke jaati hai.
Agar thyroid gland ka function low ho, aur ussa properly treat nah kiya jae, aur pregnancy ho jae to baby mein bohot see abnormalities, including Low IQ ( low Intelligence) develop ho saktee hai.
Thyroid gland ka function agar low ho gaa to weight gain develop hona lagta hai, exercise aur diet iska liya useful hota hain, magar medication khana bhee zaroori hai. |

mein ne periods k 12th day ko ultrasound kerwaya..us ki report k bare mein janna chahti hoon..
uterus.
it is retroverted.size is normal.measuring 67mmin long axis 37mm in AP..endometrium measures 10mm thickness.
right ovary
size is normal.few small follicles with largest follicle measuring 24mmx18mm..no mass or cyst is there..
left ovary
size is normal.no mass or cyst is there,
pelvis
smallquantity of free fluid seen in de cul de sac....
mujhay aik baat ki samajh nahi aai.k left ovary mein koi follicle nahi hai?follicle ka size nahi likha..
mera sawal hai..kya ovulation ho ghi?aur kab tak ovulation ho ghi..kon se din ziyada importent hon gay..mera cycle thora change ho gaya hai.28 dayz ka ho gaya hai..to iss mein kon se din ziyada aham hain..
second question mera yeh hai k mein thyroxin medicine bhi le rahi hoon.15 din k liye laini hai.us k baad test kerwana hai..to kya thyroxin laine se pregnency nahi hoti hai?matlab agar woh bhi mein laiti rahon.to pregnency mein koi rukawat to nahi hoti ?

25-ohvitamin D mein aap se aik aur sawal apne husband k bare mein poochna chahti hoon..
kuch dinon se un k backbone mein bohat ziyada dard hota hai..un se laita bhi nahi jata.doctor k pass gaye.us ne kuch test likhker diye thay..us mein aik test vitamin d ka tha..
25-OH vitamin D 6.8ng/ml
doctor kehte hai k vitamin d ki kami hai..mein yeh janna chahti hoon.k yeh kami kyun hoti hai..aur iss k sideeffect kya hote hain?aur kon si cheezain unhain khani chahiye..aur kon si avoid kerni chahiye

Follicles donon ovaries mein banta hain, bas egg release har martaba sirf kisi aik side ke ovary say hota hai. Most likely ultrasound report mein left ovary kay follicles mention karna bhool gaya hain, yaqeenan donon ovaries mein follicles hon gay. Iss report kay hisaab say lagta yeh hai keh ovulation nahin hoi hai, otherwise follicle rupture hona kay baaray mein mention kiya jaata.
Iss baat kaa chance hai keh iss ultrasound kay 1-2 days baad shayed ovulation ho gae ho, but nothing can be said for sure.
Ovulation say taqreeban 4-5 days pehla say ovulation kay 24 hours baad tak female kaa fertile period hota hai. Iss period kay doraan sex karna say pregnancy kay chances zyada hota hain. Particularly ovulations say 4-5 days pehla sex karna say pregnancy kay chances sab say zyada hota hain.
Thyroxine kay baaray mein aap kay question ka answer yeh hai keh thyroxine laina kay doraan pregnancy ho jaati hai, balkeh agar thyroid function low hai ( high TSH) to thyroxine laina pregnancy kay liya zaroori ho jaata hai. Aur throxine laina say pregnancy mein koi rukawat nahin hoti.
Aap kay husband kaa vitamin D level kaafi kam hai. Low vitamin D level say bone pain aur softening of bones kee problem ho jaati hai. Aap kay husband ko vitamin D rich foods khana chahyain, for example deep sea fish like sardines, mackeral, salmon etc, milk aur cereals etc etc. Iska illawa atleast thorra time sunlight mein zaroor guzarain. Iska saath saath vitamin D supplements bhee doctor kay mashwara say start kar dain.

how r u?mera aik sawal hai..k kya vitamin d aur calciam ki kami se man fertility effect hoti hai..mere husband ko vitamin d aur calcium ki kami hai..aur un ka uric acid bhi bara hua hai..kya in ki kami se sperms mein bhi kammi aa jati hai?
medicine to woh le rahay hain..4 month kliye doctor ne supplement diye hain..
abhi 3 din hue hain unhain medicine start kiye huue..

Gee haan, according to reasearch, calcium aur vitamin D supplements male fertility ko improve kartay hain. Aur elevated uric acid say bhee kaafi complications ho saktee hain, most importantly Gout ( high uric acid levels kee wajah say joint pain etc). |

eye allergy mein aik baat poochna bhool gayi..kafi arse se meri right eye se water discharge hota rehta tha..aur red aankh ho jati thi.doctor k pass gayi..doctor ne kaha k bohat ziyada allergy ho gayi hai..dosri aankh mein bhi asar ho raha hai..to mujhay jo aye drops diye hain..un ka naam hai

Aap ke ultrasound report mein yeh lagta thaa keh ovulation within next few days ho jae gee, magar zahir hai iska hamain definite nahin patah keh ovulation hoi yaa nahin. Aur agar ovulation nahin hoi to phir pregnancy bhee nahin ho gee.
Aap kay TSH level normal aa gaya hai, magar aap ko apni doctor kay mashwara say thyroxine continue karnee chahyee, takeh TSH level phir abnormal nah ho jae.
Yeh batana mushkil hai keh kitna arsa mein aap kay husband ke level normal ho jaian gay, periodically level check karwatee rahain. Aap na poocha keh kiya aap kay husband ko bhee test karwana chahye? Aap kis test kee baat kar rahee hain? Kiya semen analysis kee?
Alomide pregnancy mein use kee jaa saktee hai ( it's safer of the 2 medications), magar efemoline agar use karnee hee hai to sirf short duration ky liya use karain.
Aur yeh bohot acchee baat hai keh aap iss baat kaa khayal rakhtee hain keh possible early pregnancy mein koi bhee medication use karnay say pehla aap yeh confirm kar laitee hain keh iss medication kaa use early pregnancy kee soorat mein safe ho gaa yaa nahin. That's very good. |

aur mujhay pata nahi chala itni ziyada baar post ho gai.sorry for that
mujhay iss sawal ka jaldi jawab chahiye..periods k 25th day ko mein ne beta hcg kerwaya tha..jis ka result 3.6miu/ml aaya tha..
aur aaj periods ka 30th day hai..aur aaj mujhay laga mere periods start ho gaye hain..brown discharge hua tha..us k 5 hours k baad mein washroom gayi..pad per white discharge tha..aur us k baad se white discharge hai..bleeding nahi hui..iss ka kya matlab hai..mujhay kuch samajh nahi aa rahi..aur kall mujhay lahore jana hai..mujhay kuch samajh nahi aa rahi..plz mujhay aaj hi reply karin mein kya karon??
aur kya beta hcg ki report ghalat ho sakti hai?ya phir mujhay dobara test kerwa laina chahiye?

Walaikum Salam, Mein bilkul theek hoon, aap sunaian. Nidaa, sab say pehla aap apna B HCG level issi waqt repeat karwaian aur unn say kahain keh aap ko report urgently chahye. Aap ka 3.6 level pregnancy show nahin kar raha, magar B HCG level har 2-3 days mein double ho jaata hain. Agar aap kaa repeat level approx 25 yaa iss say zyada aaie then it means that you are pregnant. Aur uss soorat mein aap kay liya behtar ho gaa keh aap travel nah karain. Aap na jo brownish discharge bataya yeh implantation bleeding ho saktee hai ( fertilized egg jab uterus say attach hota hai), which would mean that you are pregnant. Baharhaal iss kay baaray mein surity kay saath ussi waqt kaha jaa sakta hai jab aap apna level repeat karwa lain. Aur jab tak repeat level nah patah chala tab tak koi travel plan finalize nah karain. By the way, aap kay husband ka semen analysis normal hai ( motility thorri si kam hai magar abnormal nahin). Sluggish, slow ko kehta hain, yaani woh sperms jinki motility( movement) slow ho. thanks for reply
ussi din mein ne dobara test kerwaya tha.but negative aaya..aur next day hum lahore chale gaye..aur second day ko period start ho gaye thay..but mujhay samajh nahi aai ..k aik din pehle light brownish spot aur phir white discharge ho gaya..aur us k aik din k baad periods start ho gaye..aisa pehle kabhi bhi nahi hua..
aik baat poochna chahti hoon..kya pregnency na hone ki wajah low motility hai?
yah phir koi aur wajah bhi ho sakti hai..doctor kehti hai k semen report bilkul theek hai.iss mein koi kami nahi hai..
motility increase kerne k liye diet bata dein..aur mere husband supplement to le rahain hain..
iss baar mujhay doctor ne lezra tablet di hai..aur 4th 5th day ko aik injection legwane ko kaha hai..ji ka naam GONADOPIN hai..yeh inj kyun lagwaya jata hai?
aur 12th day ko ultrasound ka kaha hai..

Walaikum Salam, Sorry about your negative results. Aap kay husband ke sperm motility itni kam nahin keh infertility cause karay ( normal ke lower limit ke taraf hai, but is still normal). Agar motility thorri kam ho magar total count acchha ho to woh low motility ko compensate kar daita hai, no need to worry there. Lezra, clomid ke tarah ke medication hai jo ovulation mein help karay gee. Aur gonadopin injection eggs/follicles ko mature karna mein help kara gaa. All the best.

Magar Nidaa infertility kaa treatment kabhee kabhee kaafi time lay laita hai, aur zahir hai iss soorat mein frustrated feel karna normal hai. Magar agar aap iss cheez ko iss tarah daikhain keh aap atleast aik martaba pehla pregnant ho chukee hain, yaani aap kay system mein hopefully koi aisa major fault nahin hai jiski wajah say aap dobarah pregnant nah ho sakain, aagay Allah taala ke marzi hai. Allah Taala kee zaat say acchee umeed rakhain. Kiya aap ko apni family aur friends ke full support hai, yaa iss baaray mein koi pressure hai? Yeh mein nay iss liya poocha keh stress bhee aap kay liya acchhaa nahin. Gee haan progesterone ke kami bhee pregnancy nah hona ke aik bohot common wajah hai. Iska liya aap ko ovulation kay 7th day par apna progesterone test karwana parray gaa. Agar progesterone level low ho to definitely pregnancy mein difficulty hotee hai. All the best! |

mere gher wale bhi iss bare mein full support kerte hain..aur susral wale bhi achay hain..asal mein mein aur mere husband alag rehte hain..aur husband job kerte hain..aur gher raat ko aate hain..sara din akeli hoti hoon..iss liye jab se mere saath yeh waqeah hua hai..tab se ziyada feel hota hai..aur 2 baar mere ultrasound reports bhi theek aai hain.phir bhi pregnency nahi hui..

Periods kay first day par light bleeding yaa thori irregular bleeding normal hai. Zyada important baat yeh hai keh periods approximately every 4 weeks hon, waisa thorri bohot variation is fine.
Nidaa aap kay liya behtar ho gaa keh aap koshish karain keh zyada akeeli nah raha karain, warna negative thoughts zehan mein aaian gee aur aap ko emotionally drain karain gee. Iss say aap ko weakness aur thakawat kaa ehsaas bhee ho gaa, aur aap kee overall health aur wellbeing bhee effected ho gee. Agar aap kee koi friend hain to koshish karain keh unka ghar chale jaya karain yaa unko apna ghar bula liya karain. Iska illawa koshish karain keh koi hobby develop kar lain aur uss mein time spend kiya karain. Aap kay liya exercise bhee bohot important hai, nah sirf physical health kay liya balkeh emotional health kay liya bhee. Iska saath saath zehan mein kabhee bhee koi negative sooch aaie to foran usko fight back karain aur uski jagah koi positive soch apna zehan mein laaian.
Yeh yaad rakhaian keh hamare haalat par hamara itna control nahin hota, magar apna haalat par ham kaisa react kartay hain, iss par 100% hamara control hota hai. Agar hamara reaction positive ho gaa to ham emotionally bhee behtar feel karain gay , otherwise ham apna haalat kay rehmokaram par ho jaaian gay, which is not good.
