 CA vs ACCA
CA is preferred in Auditing works in UK. ACCA is preferred in Mnangement and
Accounting works.
CA emphasis on statutory accounts, regulations and
compliances. ACCA took a general approach and balanced on financial and business
management as well as accounting works.
ACCA generally is open door
policy and does not have too much restrictions on the path taken by a students
in attaining membership. They however control the examination standard very
tightly.
CA is very restrictive in intake and trained mainly on auditing
works. For this reason it is more recognised for auditing purposes in many part
of the world.
If you want to have creativity ACCA is better. If you like
regulatory works then CA is better. And other thing is that ACCA has somewhat wider acceptance globally. But CA is considered more "prestigious"
