I am Leaving this Forum

Hello guys, i m seriously thinking about leaving this forum.From now on i will only occasionaly visit it just to comment on some serious questions and posts.

This is truning out to be another online fatwa site.It seems that there is no hope for Pakistanis(i am also included in it).They can't even drag their bums without having fatwa from some mufti around.Good for you guys.Carry on.if this is the way it works for u.But let me tell u one thing, this kind of thinking and sick approach can not sustain for a long period of time. The history has witnessed even more conservative and sick societies than ours but they were eventually blown away by the new ideas and dynamic mode of thiking.

This is the resistence(transitional as well) phase pakistani society is going through.Time is not far away when the new ideas and more liberating paradigms of thnking will replace this ridiculously superficial thinking that we have now.

maslan, agar aap sex ko hee discuss ker rahay hain, agar aik shakhs religious hawalay se koi question poochta hai tau well and good.Matter kee seriousness aur profundity ko daikhain aur phir kisee reference se oosa jawab dai dain, laikin bohat se pehlu aisay hain jin ka mazhab se direct relation hai hee nahi, mahabi hidyat oos ke baaray mein aakhir mein ja ke daikhi jaati hai jab insaan apni saari research ker chuka hota hai.mera yehi khayal hai ke in choti choti baaton mein religious controversy start kerna koi healthy society ka sign nahi.

watter, actually it was just a disturbing phase that i was going through.Nothing serious.anyway, thanx for replying.I have never said that there are gross contradictions between medical science and islamic propositions.There cannot be any coz divine message is absolute and free of errors.I was just talking in the context of the people's approach to different matter relating to sex and islamic values.

I mean, islam is more liberating and realistic on these issues than we normally believe or Mullahs have us believe.I was just saying that there is no point in dragging religion in every little matter relating to sex and othere factors of life coz it creates all sorts of confusion and controversies.No wonder we are so illtolerent as a nation.

I mean islam has made it clear that sex is a God's gift to humans.the only restriction is that we should keep it between the spouses.Between husband and wife its no holds barred.One can swing of the ceiling making every down and dirty fantasy come true.The only thing that is clearly forbidden according to the sunni islam is anal sex, and that too is considered mukrooh in shia islam.

so even on this suppoosedly clear injunction the opinion is divided.But apart from these things, there are no rigid and hard and fast rules.Islam would have made it clear if there was any.So we dont need to be the custodian of islam and terming other things Unislamic.

I mean in sex there are many other emotional and psychological factors as well.human mind is a set complex ideas and desires.We have got to be mentally free to explore ourselves.

For instance, u take the question of masturbation.It is no where forbidden in Islam.It has always been there in humans.If it were to be termed haraam, Quran would have mad it clear.So God has left these little things for us to ponder over.Even than some people tries to term it as haraam.Stupidity, isn't it?

Now we may discuss this issue in the light of medical science and psychology.It was considered sickness in the 19th centuray but it is considered a cure in modren time.It is a proven fact that masturbation helps person to explore his/her sexuality and it helps release frustration as well.But on this forum people gives strange advices to the questioner who is confused about masturbation.They give all sorts of irrelevent replies, like, try to consentrate on the studies, pray five times a day(i dont mean that we shouldnt pray or study, the fact is that most people who do pray too have such problems and masturbate), and if the questioner is girl, than good luck.all the mullahs on the forum have field day in that topic and make the questioner even more confused and guilty.Once i suggested a girl who asked about the safe method of masturbation.I told her about it and Gosh!All the mullahs got crazy as if i had put the cigerratee in their turbans.They made life really difficult for the girl and she never responded back.

I was talking about in that context and about this kind of sick approach.I never meant to be anti-islamic.Astaghfirrullah.I am a devout muslim but i have a thinking head on my shoulder which i use to apply common sense and authentic knowledge on these issues rather than asking for the fatwas from muftis around.
