Please reply... Dr Sahib, As further treatment, I have taken tinidazole BP 2 tablets before meal in morning and at night with some other tablets for inflation and pain... during and fter the medicine my pain was gone... I also abstained from sex for about 13 days but when I had intercourse for the first time after my all medication was done, a slight pain started again in testis and groin area... the second time I had it again, the pain increased... I use condom now... but there is still pain in the testis and groin.... when I use ice on the pain area, the pain is gone but it hits back after 48 hours... I do not have any pain during urinating as well as during intercourse or the times I get discharged... One thing more, when I get up in the morning, there is no pain or very little pain but as the days goes on the pain increases.... but during the sickness, the pain is never unbearable... it's mild or too little...
My Dr. advised me to have URINE R/E test which was negative...
Its more than 15 days but I still have pain... What should I do? Can I have intercourse or I shoud go for more prevention? Please help me and tell me what to do...

re: Swelling And Pain In The Testis Since still you feel some pain while intercourse therefore it is better to avoid sex for more time. However, by doing sex you are not trasmitting this disease to your wife. Since all the structures I mean penis, scrotum and epidydimus are interlinked therfore you are feeling still pain while they are used. Taking rest is a good stretegy. Do the full course of antibiotics as per doctor's advice. |

Dr. Sahib, Salam,
Hope you are fine.... Dr. Sahib, I've completed the prescription my doctor prescribed me.... It's more than 7 days that I finished the medicine... but there is still pain in the right testis and in the groin area.... I had intercourse a couple of times and the pain increased. Now I dont have intercourse but the pain is still there...
What should I do now as medicine and rest both are done?
