re: Hymen is a thin incomplete membrane present between vagina and vulva. its shape and size varies in different women.
It has 1-2 openings for passage of menstrual blood (in un-ruptured form)
after puberty, vulva becomes prominent with coarse hairs and increased lubrication inside.
virginity is not solely dependent on rupture of hymen. there are other signs also.
plus, hymen can rupture in virgin due to diverse reasons other than intercourse and may not rupture in a married woman even after childbirth.
