Cheeku: Getting Married Soon

Salam to all friends,

with the blessing of Allah and ur prayers, i have done well in the papers. now i have three months vacations. in these three months i have to do two months internship at Citibank.

somebody asked question at Forum regarding First Marriage Night. i am also getting married within next two months. i have to asked few questions regarding which i am confused:

1.i m doing MBA at IBA Karachi. previously i was working but now since last one year i m in study. i have yet remaining one year in study. two weeks after marriage i will again come back in study and will be unable to give time to the wife. due to certain family issues, i cant delay marriage. so how to solve the problem that my wife will take care of my study problem (i m lahore resident).

2.is it necessary that first night gift be expensive meaning that its expensiveness will determine your understanding with your wife. as i left job for study and at present have no earning capacity, so i m arranging marriage by keeping it simple. what kind of gift be it that a student like me can afford.

im also studying after marriage....but my situation if quite different as im a woman and my husband still earns!!

u know what u dont have to even give her a physical present like jewellery rings earings etc.....u can make her a special surprise...this involves taking her somewhere out....or cooking her candle light dinner...

but this is obviously possible a day after wedding...so just in case she gets a bit upset about not having a mun dikhai present...u can tell her that a surprise is waiting for her next day
