Question:

When my wife got pregnant first time, she developed lines over her muscles, tummy and breasts. After that, these lines became white in color, and these lines are persisting over there until now. What is the reason of these lines?

Answer:

During pregnancy, the scar like lines are generated on the belly when during pregnancy the uterus starts to develop and protrudes and also the breasts enlarge, then the tension increases in the skin and due to these reasons these lines develop.

Many of the women have elastic skin and it stretches with out breaks. Some of the women's skin breaks, however; the broken regions take the shape of red lines first and then they become white like scar lesions. Many of the obese women even develop these lines with out pregnancy it happens only since the fatty tissues beneath the skin create the tension on the skin.
