Up till 7 months of pregnancy, the intercourse could be continued, however; precautions must be taken, so that the pressure must not be exerted on the tummy of women during intercourse. 

It is usually thought that, during pregnancy orgasm is harmful for a woman. In real, this is not the case. Dr. Allen who is expert in this field explains that, "Orgasm could never be harmful at any stage during the pregnancy, however; the sexual desire is needed to be fulfilled in the same manner at this stage, at it is required at other occasions". 

If there would be chances of abortion, then the intercourse should be avoided since the second month, either or one should take the advice from the concerned doctor. Those women, who develop habitual abortions, must avoid sexual intercourse at any cost.
