Weird Problem. Is my Hymen ruptured?

Hi I am a 19 year old unmarried female. I might have the weirdest problem of all on this website. From a very young age when I was 11 years old I got into the habit of clitoral masturbation using a stream of water from the shower tap. At that time I did not know about sex. I didnt even know that I was doing some sinful act. I dont remember how I got into this habit. All I knew was that what I was doing was giving some ticklish pleasure to me.
Later at the age of 16 I got my period and found out about sex. I also found out that what I was doing was masterbation and that it was haram in Islam. I immediately stopped this habit. It took me a year to get rid of it. It was very difficult to get rid of it. Sometimes I didnt even take a shower for many days. But the all mighty Allah helped me recover from this 'disease'.
When I learned about the hymen I got very tensed and depressed. I thought that all the clitoral masterbation that I had been doing for so long might have ruptured my hymen.
I do not remember any kind of pain or bleeding while masterbating in the shower.But I am not too sure as it was from a long time ago.
I searched the net for ways to find out about my hymen. One way was to use a mirror . I tried this but I couldnt open my vagina and couldnt see any hole. Probably I had to be sexually stimulated to look at the hole(which I was not willing to do).
Another way  that I found on the internet was to put a finger gently inside the vagina and see if anything was blocking it. I did this too. I put HALF of my index(pointing) finger into my vagina but there was no kind of hindrance. There was nothing blocking my finger. All I could feel were the spongy muscles inside. There was no pain and no blood on my finger. I only did this once using only half of my index finger.

Now my questions are

1. Can Clitoral stimulation using a water stream from a shower tap cause rupture of hymen? Tell me the percentage chances

2 How can I self examine my hymen?

3 Can you tell me from your experiences (for experienced people) and your patients' experiences ( for doctors) that is my hymen ruptured?

This is an amazing website. If I had known about sex education I wouldnt be at this point. I pray 5 times a day and I know masterbation is a sinful act that's why I got rid of it. Kindly please help me.

It would be extremely unlikely that you would have ruptured your hymen with water pressure from shower head. However, trying to check whether your hymen was intact or not by inserting your finger inside could certainly have ruptured it had you inserted your finger deep enough. Therefore try not to do it again.

The mirror method is certainly a much better way to check for the hymen, however, it requires some practice as you will have to maintain a certain somewhat awkward posture, while trying to hold the mirror with one hand and opening the labia with another. Having said that, I do not see any specific reason why you should look for whether your hymen is intact, because as I said earlier, it would be highly unlikely for your hymen to have ruptured from water pressure.

I don't know if you already know this or not, but not every woman is born with a hymen. Approximately 1 out of every 1000 women do not have hymen by birth.

I will certainly consider your warning about poking a finger inside.

I do know that some girls dont even have a hymen and yet still the people in our country make such a big issue over it.
