Can We Change Sex Orientation?

dr sahib,plz tell where should a gay man go to change his sexual orientation? What help you people can provide? Is there exist any effective psychological treatment? It is said in western world that one cant change his sexual orientation, how much true it is?

Being a Muslim it is Highly highly restricted!!!! It is a great sin.The great book Holly Quran restricts the people to this by giving the example and ref. of "Qoum-e-Loot" and this type of sex is called as "Amal-e-Loot".And the punishment for this sin was given to the Quom-e-loot for that great sin.

So being a muslim no psycholgical treatment is required.Just the Fear of Allmighty Allah should be enough for the restriction of this habbit.

Medically it is also restricted beacuse the diseases like AIDS & HIV spreads more rapidly by this way of sex.

Being a Muslim if you have fear of Allah in ur mind,you can easily get rid from this habbit.Moreover after this if you still find any difficulty regarding this matter,consult an expert psychologist.

Consult any psychiatrist

I agree with khansaab. But you also need some sort of psychiatric treatmen. You are advise to consult any clinical psychologist for psychotherapy and behvior therapy.
