 Removal Of Testes After Operation Due To Cancer: What Would Be The Impacts Over Sexual Health?
Assalam-O-Alaikum dr. sab mujhy testicular cancer hova tha...cancer lungs tak spred ho gaya tha....us k bad 2 opration hova ist lungs say tumer nikal n 2nd right testis remove kiya...us k bad chemothrapy hoi...ab 2 months hova hai mara chemo treatmont khatem hova hai....plz mujhy iz k bara mai batai k jo mara testis remove kiya hai is k kya effect hog gy marai seual health per .....n cancer come back to nai hota ...n iz k causes kya hai.....
I have got testicular cancer that has spread till the lungs.
After that two operations have been done and the right testes has been removed
followed by chemotherapy. I want to ask that now two months have been passed
away after chemotherapy, and what would be the impacts of removed testes on my
sexual life? Whether this cancer would come back to me or not?

testicular cancer in young age the testicular cancer type is the one that is really responsive to chemotherapy n most of the spread goes away by chemo n most probably u wont have it again.
bt u av to be more conscious about any lump in other testes n ur tumor markers in blood are checked if they go away n fall with time chemo is done its good
n removal of 1 testes never effect sexual health does not make any1 impotent and u can be a father too.
none of the cancer has specific causes bt definately smoking and alcohol are known carcinogenic and radiation exposure or if the testis are not in their rite place(scrotum) thats called as undescended testes. |

re: testis cancer testis ka kam sperm ki production hai, lehaza testis ke removal se sperm ki production nahi ho sakti. sperm na ho tu aap baby paida nahi ker sakte. agar aap ka sirf aik testis nikala gaya hai tu phir doosre testis se etna sperm produce ho sakta hai ji se aap ki fertility mutassir nahi hoti, yani aap baby paida ker sakte hai.
generally cancer spread ker ke aik jagah se doosri jagah chale jaate hai, dobara cancer ho ga keh nahi iss ka daromadar iss per hai keh aap ke body mai cancer cell mojood hai keh nahi, agar cancer cell mojood hai tu dobara cancer hone ka khatra hai, warna nahi.

Re Yup these r tumor markerz AFP(ALPHA FETO PROTEIN) n beta hcg thts beta human chorionic gonadotrophin these r monitord throught chemotherapy until there level totally goes off that is when tumor is gettng killed. U got ur chest xray n abdominal ultrasound clear thts v.gud means u av no metastases left(spread of ca). What xtra u r required are LFT's that is liver function tests if they are cleard then xcellent.if all of the above things i mentnd of urz are done as must be by the doctr u r cnsltng wud av dne and came clear then u just need a re-check after 3-6month mostly doc do a 3 month n then if clear a 6month check. It all depends wat was ur initial tumor n how early it was detectd as in ur case it semz it has gone now. |

but mujhy both dar sy pata chala may be 8months mai..jub lungs opration kiya to us ki biopsy result mai CD_30 EMBRYO CARCINOMA aya pher testis remove kiya n pher chemothrapy hoi.....plz batai k late to nai ho gaya?? n ab come back k chances to nai hai......?? plz reply karai...n datail mai batai... mujhy her waqat ye hi dar rata hai k khai pher n come back ho jai. |

Re Daikhe i knw apko dair se pata chala ap tumor lung tak ja chuka tha bt ye jo apne tumor type batai ha ye bohat acha respönse daiti ha chemotherapy ko. Sub se barh kr ye k apke tumor marker clear aye han blood mai... Ye bht postv baat ha.apko follow up doc in btaya hoga 3mnth ya 6mnth baad. Body k bht se tumor dobara ho jate han jin mai kuch type testes k bhe BUT YE WALI Type nahe n aik do aur type bhe nai hoti.testicular tumor ka prognosis yani complete cure ka chance 99.5percnt ha aur dobara hona yani recurrence rate na hone k brabar. GAIB KA ILM KEY KYA HONA HE KYA NAI ALLAH KO HA.ap Allah se duwa mange aur ache umeed rakhain.wo apne bandoon par unke himat se zada bojh nai dalta. Apne damag se khof bahar nikal dain n faith strong karain. |
