 MBBS First Professional Examination: How To Pass It?
I want to ask how to pass in it professional examination of MBBS. Give me some tips and also give me typical university questions of physiology if anybody knows it. Plz

Interesting... I just am so happy to see such a questiön here... First can u tell from which medical college are u?..then i can tel physio guess , by the way its anatomy that botherz
Midhat96... Medicine is a game of nerves..
Just remember my above tip... Keep ur nerves strong during professionals ... Everyone can tell u study hard, clear ur concepts etc etc ... My personal 2 tips are 1) do your best and leave the rest to Almighty ... But prep has to be this much that you can ask Allah that i did my best... 2) basis must be strong , e.g u know the cardiac cycle examiner will then ask you arrythmias , u lack in basis u wont be rewarded whether u knw the most rarest things ..... And nerves make them strong.. I dnt knw whats situ at ur college but i entered medicine at my own will totally and used to be a very anxious tense person and top of it my college envt is like in the start u think u have made ur life miserable so i just had to adapt.. In exams tension triples but its the survival of fittest our class was 288 in first year now we are 187 the rest dropped out by 3rd yr |

reply im student of university of lahore n my first prof is after 1month.my problem is that my concepts are still very unclear.it doesnot mean im not a good student but i donot know how to study physiology and from where.medical is not my chioce i want choose some other field but my parents forced for medical and now i dnt knw how to pass it out please help me out. |

midhat dont worry i help u out dont worry...
ur problem is like most of the medical students problem...
my case was opposite... my parents wanted me to be a happy-go-lucky daughter of their's but i just stucked out to be in medicine...
u plz wait a sec..
Midat and physiology
Guyton is the book that we studied and in my personal opinion its thorough read 2times , that is once in sendup and 2nd in prof prep is enuff to pass u... Ganong was also used for consultation .. Anyway there is almost always a questiön from basic cell structure may it be a mitochondria,nerve potentials are impt , from cvs comes the compulsary question and ventricle potentials ... Respiratory system functions are impt and basic cardiac and skeletal muscle differences.. |

Guyton......its undigestable THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPIMG ME.in our college there is no concept of proper send up exam.....so my preparation is u know very bad and now i have very short time i have to revise anatomy,biochem but i have to study physio. from very start so senior student say that in this time i cannot study Guyton as i have just 10days to cover whole physio and units are Blood,Cvs and circulation,Cell,nerve and Muscle,respiration.so tell me how should i manage my time tabel so that i can cover all the subjects in one month and can pass physiology.what should i do n what can i leave.please |

midhat and physiology you take my advice whatever number you get in first year physiology you read guyton in second year and its a must...
now we have tests and sendup and we are like really hooked up by the time proff cumz any way ur time seems real short...
donot leave blood and cvs. and circulation. they are a must
give 2 days to resp and just go through nerve muscle and cell they are impt for viva but remember a little question might be there...

medical notes pehli baat yeh ke aap aik study partner talash kare aur os ke saath combined study kare.
agar aap ne saal bhar mai apni standard text book like gyton nahi khatam kia hai aur ab ose read kerna mushkil lag raha hai tu yahi mashwarah hai keh aap ose read na kare, balkeh aap subject se related notes jo ke size mai kafi kam hota hai ose study kare. yeh notes tamam medical college se related book store per mil jaate hai.
aap combined study kerne wale partner ke saath yeh tamam notes achchi tarah discuss ker le, aur iss qabil ho jaaye keh os ke tamam topic aap apni zuban mai likh sake aur oral poochne per jawab de sake. notes mai tamam important topic cover ho jaate hai, jabkeh standard text book ke chakkar mai aap na tu poori book read ker sakte ge balkeh important topic bhi cover nahi ker sake ge.
medical subject hazam na hone ki kai wajoohat hoti hai
- pehli baat yeh keh rohjan ke khilaf waldain ki khahish per admission lena
- doosri baat yeh keh teacher ka lecture samajh na aana, ya tu aap ki listening power kamzor hai, ya phir teacher sahi se lecture nahi de rahe ho.
- subject follow na kerne ki aik wajah yeh bhi hoti hai keh aap irregularly class attend kerte ho, aise soorat mai bhi lecture samajh nahi aata.
- kuch student urdu medium se taluq rakhte hai onhai bhi english mai lecture samajh nahi aata.
bahar hal jo bhi wajah ho, aap ko mashwarah hai keh aap iss baat ko tasleem ker le keh aap medical student hai aur aap ko doctor hi banna hai, aur last moment mai mushkil text book ki bajaye easy medical notes read kare, aur combined study kare. |

there are no short cuts in medicine!!! i donot recommend any notes...
its true if u have not studied guyton donot go for it... as i said do go for it in 2ndyear...
Donot Read notes...never read notes.... mark my words...... they are wrong ones..... if u commit a blunder in ur basis due to ur notes wrong concept u will not be given a marjin at all....
read what ever u have read through out the year
and yes if combine study suits u... mostly boys do this...
plus i cant do this , have never done.... if u can get understanding fine |

Indian book read kare lekin nahi parhne se kahi behtar hai keh notes hi parh lia jaaye.
woh kehta hai keh na os ka medical ka rohjan nahi hai aur na hi woh gyton read ker sakta hai, aisi soorat mai yahi behtar hai keh woh notes parhe. agar woh notes bhi nahi parhe ga tu kia parhe ga.
albatta agar woh samajhta hai keh woh 2nd year mai dil laga ker parhe ga tu phir ziadah behtar mashwarah hai keh woh gyton hi read kare. waise agar woh notes parhna nahi chahta aur gyton bhi mushkil lag raha hai tu phir ziadah behtar ho ga keh woh Indian Book read kare, woh bahut hi easy aur pakistani style mai likha hota hai. waise pakistani author Mushtaq Ahmed ki book bhi read ker sakta hai. |

Physiology ke guyton ke death tab huwe jab i think i was in 3rd year ya 4th year but aik guyton .... ganog physio ke....
big robins pathology ke... inko mai sari zindgi duwa donge....
physio ke guyton ke ahmiyat 3rd yr mai pharma parh kar samaj ati ha....!!!

medical examination agar aap samajhti hai keh mai yaha jawab na doo tu theek hai, mai mazeed koi jawab nahi dooga.
waise aap ke liye arz hai keh 5 fingers aik jaisi nahi hoti, aap khood jaise hai koi zaroori nahi keh doosra bhi aap jaisa ho, aur aap ki tarah medical shoq se saara saal samajh ker read ker raha ho. lehaza 5 fingers ki tarah 5 qisim ke student ko bhi 5 qisim ka different mashwarah dia jaata hai. kisi ko poori text book ka mashwarah dia jaata hai, tu kisi ko notes ka tu kisi ko pakistani ya indian author ke book ka.
bahar haal aap chahti hai keh mai medical category mai jawab nahi doo tu next time nahi doo ga. |

Still Confused THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU.but im still confused and dnt knw what to do now as i joined medical just for my parents and did not study seriously whole year but now i want to take med. as a challenge and i promise i will work hard in 2ndy but now please tellme how to just pass in this very short time.how to manange all subjects give some idea about time table n how much time for each subject to pass i dnt want to be fail in ist year I knw there is no sustitute of text book. |

agar 30days han
15 for anatomy
15 for physio
biochem mai na shaam mai aik topic karti thei...ya phir 2hours bus...jitna bhe ho....
1st year biochem bohat asan he...2ndyear ke tough he ...
listen....
anatomy apki jitni bhe practice ho...kunke wo sara saal stages lai lai kar mar daitey han usko nai chorna....
anatomy jitni parhe hoti hana utni he bahar chali jati ha
ap bodies par ja kar apni practice ya id achi karna ... wo cheezen paper mai yaah ati han jo daikhe hon..ok
viva ke keye and spotting ke leye specimen ache karo....inn se marks zada ayen gey...
physiology ho jaye ge dont worry 15days mai...
actually i am very sorry .. mujhe yaad nai aa raha but girlz aik handbook bhe daikhti thein.. ap wo karlo..senior se poocho na book ka...maine physio mai guyton se mohabbat ke ha....
mai tu pharma ke start mai har unit wise guyton daikhti thei..........laikin ap pareschan na ho okey
apke unit wise test nai huwe han?? physio ke tab kya parha...wohe karo
bus jo book pehley pari ha wo
agar apki combine study ka kuch nateeja hota he tu kar lo....
mainey nai kei... bones hum anatomy ke combine kartey theiy..
han impt point bones issued han?? agar apke college mai nai han tu wahan ja kar wahein baith kar unse chalk se marking laga kar muscle ke attachments karna ok... very imp...
ap logo ka first year mai kon konsa he? upper limb lower limb aur brain???????
anyways attachment bones par karna...wo mark karwain gey plus impt nerves ka relation...
embrology ka compulsary question hota he |

Thanks Thank you so much.Now i got ur point and i want to say in the way ur guiding me i will surely Pass INSHALLAH.bcoz seniors in our college dnt tell anything they r very Proud.Teachers r like jokers they just come for joking specially Anatomy teachers.Stages were just like doing jokes not any serious test of physio too.In Physio they dnt teach us CVS n said do it by ur own no unit wise test.
Bones r not issued.now prep leaves for prof in college so i want to buy bones Can u tell me from where i can buy?????????We have Upperlimb Lower limb n Thorax.my spotting is good but surfacemarking is Difficult.Also give me Tips for IDENTIFICATION of slides Of HISTIOLOGY
hand book for Physio someone told me is FIRDOUS or CONCISE. |

Mhdhat Anarkali mai neeley gumbad k pas he market medical shops for books,bones,instruments etc mery colg k tu pas he hain magar har koi wahein se laita he.. Yr midhat mind na karna maine lahr mendcl ke yehe repo suni ha jo apne batai ha .. Stdntz ne proud tu hona he agar itni money dai rai han pas ho jain ge.. Bar bar daikho aur cell identify karo goblet cell ha tu resp system ke lining ha , pear shape ha tu urinary ke transitional he , agar hair nazar aye aur flat flat keratin ho tu skin pari ha etc..
