Follicular size

There is a certain size of ovarian follicules which is required for release of ovum, if the follicles are small, the ovum is not released and hence the union of sperm and ovum (and ultimately) pregnancy can not take place. The medicine given to u is helpful in increasing the follicle size and hence release of ovum. On 11th or 12th day of menstrual cycle, the ultrasound is done for follicular tracking.
