 Can A Husband Drink His Wifes Milk?
hello! i want to ask that, after marriage a husband can drink his wife's milk

Aurat Ka Doodh Piya Nahi Jaa Sakta Husband is not allowed to drink his wife milk..in islam..logically just think isnt it the right of their newborn only... Aurat ka doodh pia nahi jaa sakta hai. |

kia aap yeh baat proper reference se keh sakti hai, ya yeh aap ka zaati khayal hai.
bivi ka doodh peene se nikah nahi break hota hai.

ji haa maa ka doodh baby ke liye behtar hai, lekin agar baby ka baap os ke hissa ka doodh pee le tu pareshaan hone ki zaroorat nahi, aise baby ko dabba ka doodh pilai. |

Nice reply bewaqoof I never said that nikkah breaks.. Definately it does not break but its makrooh the milk of wife should not reach husband stomach deliberately(i read it in a fatwa of islam online website by sheikh kutty)...if drank in ignorance .. Just ask forgiveness and dont do it again.. If it comes in mouth during foreplay just spit it out.. And the baby father had his share from his mother now he must stop being selfish and lookout for the nutrition of His Own Baby |

For some stupid members: The well-known Muslim scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, states:
“During the life-time of the Prophet’s Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) it happened that one of the Companions was making love with his wife, and in the course of love-making he (the Companion) sucked her breasts to the extent that some of the milk reached his stomach. Following that, the Companion went to Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about the ruling. Replying the man, Abu-Musa Al-Ash`ari said that the man’s wife had become forbidden for him. (i.e., like his mother) |

Thanks azfar 91 for calling us stupid You have read half the story..it continues that the person went to Muhammad Ibn Masud who said its not like this and he backed his argument saying the milk that makes a women unlawful for marriage is drunk during first two years of life.u can even read whole fatwa on the link doctor k k has given. |

mai ne kaha na keh mai na tu koi mufti hoo aur na hi aalim, aap tu bahut hi bare aalim aur mufti hai, jab hi tu aap lambe lambe fatwe dete rahte hai, aur doosre mufti aur aalim like Hazrat moulana Muhammad Yousuf Ludhyanvi Shadeed jaise aalim ke fatwa per bhi criticise kerte ho, mujh mai na tu etni qabliat hai aur na hi himmat keh mai kisi aalim ya mufti ke fatwa per criticise ker sakoo.

For referance I am giving some details of Fatwa. Yes it is not making any problem in the relations between wife and husband on behalf of suckling milk by husband of his wife. However this is the opinion of some scholars that it breaks NIKKAH. As according to the link I have given, in that the Hadith shows that Nikkah Would not remain in case of suckling milk. However; again I would say that this is a contraversial issue. Now better to avoid those things which are doubtful according to the saying of Allah's Apostle Hazrat Muhammad PBUH. We can't challange an ALIM like Maulana Yousuf Ludhyanwi. If he said it is lawful then yes it is.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Milk of a woman is pure. Therefore, it is not compulsory to wash the mouth from it whether it is drunk during sex or otherwise. However, it is better not to drink the wife’s milk to avoid acting against those jurists who are of the opinion that if a male who has exceeded the age of infants drinks milk of a woman she becomes his foster mother just as she becomes a foster mother of any infant who drinks her milk. Allah knows best.

A husband can enjoy his wife as he wishes provided he avoids having intercourse during menses or in her anus. So, you may suck your wive's breasts. If the milk flows and you drink, this does not affect the marital relations. Only the suckling that takes place during the first two years is considered in Shari'a, according to the majority of Muslim scholars. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "Suckling (that is considered) is only the one that is done for feeding from hunger" [Reported by Imams al-Bukhari and Muslim ]. It does not make any difference that a child also suckles from that milk or not. However, it is better for a husband not to drink his wife's milk taking into consideration the opinion of those who believe that the suckling of a big person also establishes the relation of flesh and blood. This is the opinion of Ayisha (Radiya Allahu Anha), Ataa , Laith and Ibn Hazm . Allah knows best.

I want to find out about lactation without going into details. What is the opinion regarding a husband drinking his wife's milk, intentionally or unintentionally? Thank you very much.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
Muslim scholars dislike suckling or drinking the wife's milk. But if one does so, it does not affect the (Nikah) marriage contract. The majority of the Muslim scholars have agreed that the suckling of an older person, i.e. after the first two years, does not cause relations of flesh and blood (i.e. unmarriageability). Allah Says in this regard (Interpretation of meaning): (The mothers shall give suck to their children for two whole years, (that is) for those (parents) who desire to complete the term of suckling). [2:233], and the Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "Suckling (that is considered) is only the one that is done for feeding from hunger". And a big person usually does not suck to satisfy his hunger. Allah knows best.

Ulma mai ikhtelaf ham log na tu aalim hai aur na hi mufti, isi liye ham logo ko ulma ya mufti ka sahara lena perta hai, lekin hamari badqismati yeh hai keh hamare aalim aur mufti khood aik doosre se agree nahi kerte. |
